Very spacious room in a four bedroom apartment 2 minutes from Hanger Lane station. The Apartment is located above a shop and there are several more convenience stores in the vicinity. A small promenade away there is a big Sainsbury's as well as a massive chinese supermarket. About 20 minutes away there are both a tesco superstore and an ASDA. Buses to the ASDA run from just around the corner.
2 minute walk (or a 30 second run, haha) to Hanger Lane station (central line) and a 10 minute walk to Park Royal station (Piccadilly Line). there is also a bus stop halfway to the station with buses to ealing. Past the station is a bus stop with buses towards Willesden junction and Shepherd's Bush. If you walk past the Park Royal station you have a cinema and restaurants as well as bowling and a fitness centre.
The room is furnished with a double bed, a small table, shelves and a combined shelf unit and clothes hanger. There is one house phone but for you wanting your own phone in the room, there is a plug for that in the wall.
Bathroom has shower/tub and kitchen is fitted with washing machine, gas stove/fan oven and has other appliances such as mixer, microwave, rice cooker, etc.
Current residents are two male professionals and one female professional (with her boyfriend sometimes living here) No smoking in public areas since not all of us smoke, but if you want to smoke in the room, that is fine.
Rent is £250 per month and does not include bills. Electricity and gas is paid by top up so there is no risk for heart attack when the bills arrive. There is no TV but you can bring yours, there is an antenna (not in use by the other residents) somewhere in the house. If your're a student then you won't need to pay council tax, but if you're not a student, council tax will round the rent up to almost £300 per month. Security deposit is £280, payable to my housemate(Jean or Ben) before moving in. I'm out of the country but my housemates can show you the room. The location is excellent for getting around london and the big single room is quite spacious. ------------------
I just spoke with one of my housemates(Jean) and her partner(Ben) who lives with her will be around all day through out this week. You can view the house any time, leave your email, or number and I'll email or call you. so I can let him know when you want to view the room. You can move in as soon as you want, after you pay security deposit(£280) to my housemate Jean or Ben. You'll only start paying rent in february. The security deposit bit: before I moved in to the room I payed security deposit to the last occupier of the room. the next occupier of the room is supposed to pay the security deposit to me. and when you move out the next occupier pays the security deposit to you.
